Dr. Tamara Levin is a licensed psychologist in the state of Maryland (license # 05375).
Dr. Levin earned her B.A. in Psychology from the University of Maryland, College Park and her doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from The American School of Professional Psychology. She completed her internship training at George Mason University where she provided individual and group therapy. Dr. Levin has experience working in a variety of settings, such as, private practice, university counseling centers, outpatient clinics, and schools with children, adolescents, young adults, and adults from diverse backgrounds. Clinical interests include, but are not limited to, anxiety, depression, relationships and interpersonal issues, life cycle transitions, and diversity issues.
Currently, Dr. Levin is a staff psychologist at The Snow Psychology Group, LLC where she provides psychotherapy services to adults of all ages. She works from a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) orientation. She offers daytime appointments. She also works with Social Security Disability Determination Services conducting psychological assessments for children, adolescents and adults who are applying for disability benefits.
In her spare time, she enjoys experimenting with new recipes, playing volleyball, and spending time with her spouse and two children.
